As the Master Data Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and executing innovative data strategies that drive impactful business outcomes. Collaborating closely with Process Owners and subject matter experts across the organization, you'll champion the development of master data solutions that are scalable, consistent, and expertly governed.

What You'll Brew: Lead the development for Syniti Knowledge Platform's Stewardship Tier, which is BBC's data management tool for Master Data Management and Data Quality. Develop a support model, including internal and external resources, to sustain the data management toolset. Establish data connections, schedules, and workflows to achieve objectives. Serve as a key resource in the design of the Enterprise Data Management strategy and business architecture with initial focus on Master Data Management. Apply a "systems thinking" mindset to articulate how and why specific data initiatives support the big picture. Solve a diverse range of complex problems often with incomplete information and/or conflicting priorities. Organize deliverables and partner with key stakeholders to align data initiatives to solutions and behaviors that drive sustainable data excellence for desired business outcomes. Analyze data usage to build a deep understanding of current state operations/enablement to formulate pathways forward. Assist in formalizing requirements, building acceptance criteria, and defining policies and procedures to support data quality for operational execution. Proactively communicate any foreseen security concerns, risks, hurdles, barriers, or complications.
What Ingredients You'll Bring: Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in progressive data management and data governance with both strategic and operational implementations. Demonstrated capability to apply principles, theories, and concepts to build data processes, systems, and literacy to achieve data quality. Team member who collaborates seamlessly across organizational boundaries and engages in multiple simultaneous projects. Knowledge of process management and analysis; proficiency at integrating technology and process. Proven track record of troubleshooting, identifying bottlenecks, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Awareness of formal data practice/governance models, (e.g., DAMA, CMMI, DGPO). Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to form strong relationships, be respectful and approachable to build a positive work environment. Indirect influencing.
Preferred Qualifications: Syniti Knowledge Platform experience a plus. Experience within CPG, food and beverage or the pharmaceutical industry. Ability to write SQL queries to analyze data. Must have SAP or similar large ERP experience.
Level: 5
At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $119,000 and $186,550. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset, and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
