Account Manager, Pharma Relations - Full-Time

Objective
Reporting to the VP of Pharma Relations, the Account Manager of Pharma Relations serves as the primary business relationship manager and liaison with assigned pharmaceutical manufacturer accounts. In this role, the Account Manager will oversee and be accountable for communications, contract performance, compliance, and adherence, while also managing and reporting on specific accounts. Responsibilities include preparing for and conducting regular client business reviews, serving as the internal point of contact and subject matter expert for assigned accounts, and effectively advocating for clients’ interests across internal departments.
Essential Duties
- Acts as the primary liaison for assigned pharmaceutical manufacturer accounts on behalf of AleraCare, ensuring contract adherence and support
- Ensures AleraCare’s success in meeting all contract requirements with assigned accounts
- Regularly checking in on accounts to ensure they're satisfied
- Conducts business reviews, implements improvements, and adjusts strategies to ensure the smooth progress of assigned projects
- Manages communications and interactions within AleraCare and with pharmaceutical manufacturers to ensure full compliance with all contractual obligations
- Handles contract renewals with assigned pharmaceutical manufacturer clients
- Represents AleraCare at events and meetings with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers
- Monitors performance, generates comprehensive reports, and ensures the satisfaction of pharmaceutical manufacturers
- Collaborates with Clinical, Operations, and Sales teams to understand and report on client needs and market conditions
- Performs related duties as assigned and any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Organization's Values
Position Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Experience successfully working in a cross-functional organizational environment
- A minimum of 2 years related and progressively responsible experience in contracting, consultative selling for high-end products in life sciences/similar industry
- Excellent project management abilities
- Willing to travel up to 40% for business purposes
- Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience working with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers/Wholesalers in the Specialty Pharmacy, Home Infusion and/or Ambulatory Infusion markets
- Experience in contract management with Pharmaceutical Manufacturer clients
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/MS in Business or related field with 5+ years of experience in a related field
- Experience working with Pharmaceutical Manufacturers/Wholesalers in the Specialty Pharmacy, Home Infusion and/or Ambulatory Infusion markets
- Experience in contract management with Pharmaceutical Manufacturer clients
