Job Description
We LOVE our Carolina Elite work family, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our amazing team! The right candidate will be highly motivated, caring, has previous MA and phlebotomy experience, and enjoys interacting with patients and office visitors. Our OB/GYN private practice has offices in Raleigh and Garner. The candidate must be open to rotating between both offices (not on the same day)

Responsibilities:
- Take and record patients medical histories and vitals
- Prep exam rooms for clinical procedures and routine visits
- Perform data entry tasks in Athena to document patient record
- Monitor storage and inventory of office supplies
- Prepare and administer medications under the direction of the supervising provider
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures
- Assist providers during exams
- Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions
Skills:
- Proficient in patient care techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Education Requirements:
- Requires high school diploma or GED
- Completion of a Medical Assisting program preferred
Skills & Ability Requirements:
- Phlebotomy experienced preferred
- Prior MA experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical software and equipment
- Salary expectations must fall within the range listed
