Job Description:

This position will be responsible for ongoing product performance analysis and reporting, with a strong emphasis on SQL-based data manipulation (Snowflake and Oracle) and Python scripting for automation and data analysis. The candidate should have experience querying large datasets and building scalable data solutions. Knowledge of APIs is a plus. The role requires the ability to work independently or collaboratively, with attention to detail and an analytical mindset.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze real estate property valuation data and evaluate product performance using SQL and Python
  • Apply statistical techniques for hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and trend analysis
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data through cleaning and validation techniques
  • Assist in the development of new and existing data models
  • Communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders
  • Develop scripts or workflows using Python and SQL for data transformation and ETL tasks
  • Perform SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from Snowflake and Oracle databases
  • Automate recurring data processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and integration with APIs to enhance reporting workflows
  • Understand the Company's real estate and mortgage property valuations products and analytics
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify, analyze, and articulate the needs of prospective or existing customers using data-driven insights
  • Manage and maintain regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations
  • Conduct report testing and modifications as required, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and meaningful data insights
  • Support and maintain the functionality and integrity of reporting solutions, including data integrations and API
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in querying and analyzing large datasets in SQL, especially with Snowflake and Oracle databases
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization, complex queries, and experience with window functions and CTEs
  • Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation, and ETL tasks, with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
  • Familiarity with data cleaning, validation, and modeling techniques, such as outlier detection and regression
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical techniques like hypothesis testing and confidence intervals
  • Effective communicator, with the ability to translate complex data insights for non-technical audiences
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience in ETL processes, with knowledge of extracting and transforming data from multiple sources and file formats
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in complex SQL queries, including window functions, CTEs, and performance optimization
  • Experience with advanced machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Familiarity with real estate data or closely related fields
  • Experience with APIs and automating data workflows
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure DevOps)
