Job Summary:
• Got Q1 and Q2 plans and requests from finance, HR, and other corporate function teams.
• Huge lift coming from finance.
• Data Analysts are more important than finance skills, but ecommerce and accounting data are still common.
• Working on financial plans – ecommerce reporting and accounting reporting prep included.
• Data engineers ingest and get through API pipelines to data warehouse.
• Working in data warehouse, cleaning, transforming, preparing for reporting, and building reports.
• Good communication and project management skills – they manage projects.
• Currently on Snowflake and running most of the pipeline through AWS, migrating to Databricks, pipeline in AWS and in Airflow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data analysis and reporting.
• Managing projects and ensuring timely delivery.
• Working with data engineers to ingest data through API pipelines.
• Cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for reporting.
• Building and maintaining reports.
• Managing data warehouse operations.
Required Qualifications:
• At least 5+ years of data analysis experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills combined with strong technical skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Project management skills – will be managing projects.
• Able to run ETL.
• Advanced skills in SQL.
• Experience with scheduled tasks, procedures, etc.
• Strong Python skills.
• Advanced data manipulation skills in Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Databricks and Apache Airflow experience.
• Familiarity with predictive analytics - regression analysis, machine learning techniques.
Education: Bachelors Degree
