Description :
Looking for someone with process mapping experience from a data flow perspective rather than an architectural perspective.
Will need to be good at teasing out information from people who are fairly busy and whose daily jobs do not include creating this documentation but have all the knowledge necessary to create the documentation.
Type of background is flexible...
Technical skills are important, the ability to do some light querying of large databases is important.
Consent management - knowing how to speak that language to various marketing and or activation teams.
marketing, marketing analytics, data governance compliance consent management would be helpful
Stakeholder management, interviewing, and documentation are really important - contractors in these type of roles should have this prior experience
Position Responsibilities
* Provide analyst support on key Governance initiatives with a focus on helping Hyatt integrate disparate guest data sets (reservation data, profile data) in a compliant manner
• Gather business and legal requirements for merging the data assets and monitor adherence by data integration teams
• Participate on the integration working teams and help secure clarification on guest data integration policies from legal partners and broader data governance team
• Help centralize documentation on multi-channel marketing consents collected by Hyatt including developing data flow maps and data dictionaries of where consents are collected, stored and used.
• Work with governance and legal partners to assess how each of those consents is leveraged by various channels to develop marketing audiences today and document needed adjustments
• Help manage working sessions to plan and execute required changes to today's processes
Deliverables
* Ad hoc thorough and timely review of new data assets or new integrations migrating into Enterprise Data Platform for the presence of personal information or for data policy adherence
* Catalog of Marketing Consents issued by channel
* Bi-Weekly Consent Committee program management to review requests for new audience development.
Description:
PURPOSE:
We are looking for a Data Governance Analyst to help the team accelerate several critical initiatives at ***. While these may evolve over the course of the year, the initial priorities include: (1) ensuring data compliance on rapidly moving, highly visible data integration projects that involve merging guest data stored in different locations with (2) helping to improve the efficiency and efficacy of ***'s marketing consent data flows by understanding the current state, supporting facilitated workshops and monitoring workplans to implement prioritized improvements.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide analyst support on key Governance initiatives with a focus on helping *** integrate disparate guest data sets (reservation data, profile data) in a compliant manner

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4+ years of work experience with hands-on data analysis on large datasets, requirements gathering and documenting detailed data /business process flows
• Experience with marketing or customer analytics and marketing consent management a plus
• Highly proficient in SQL; Python a plus
• Highly proficient in Excel and experience Alteryx; Tableau experience a plus.
• Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and report simultaneously across different stakeholders
• Experience and comfort solving problems and leading peers in an ambiguous environment where there is constant change
• Flexible nature; ability to quickly adapt to feedback or requirements changes
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot/conduct root cause analysis for technical or data issues or process improvements
• Passionate about learning new technologies or about new vendor capabilities
• Skilled in creating executive-ready presentations in PowerPoint
