Our company, Apex Service Partners, is rapidly growing and needs an action-oriented Leadership Recruiter who can bring scalable processes, selection and sourcing ability, and a passion for creating enduring company cultures in an industry many overlook the Skilled Trades. Specifically, this talent professional will own the execution of programmatic talent pool management and hiring production of operational field leaders who will in turn, lead dozens, and in some locations, hundreds of technicians while growing the business exponentially.

This position will have direct exposure to senior company leadership and report directly to the VP of Talent Acquisition, so an ability to impact the business at the C-suite level and a passion for connecting high level candidates to outstanding opportunity are key.

Purpose

As the leader of our nationwide Market President, General Manager, and senior leadership search, you will develop strategies and tactics to maintain a robust leadership talent pipeline aligned with our acquisition pace. You will organize, track, and enhance outcomes from key leadership talent sources, including military, referrals, B-schools, and internal development, creating a scalable program management playbook for regional implementation. The Leadership Recruiter will track and improve hiring metrics, expand talent pools, and drive hiring results for assigned requisitions. Additionally, you will support continuous improvement in field executives' hiring capabilities, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and positioning Apex as an Employer of Choice in the trades.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Working with senior operational leadership, the Management Search Recruiter will impact:

  • Sourcing: Manage and lead nationwide sourcing channels programmatically, for field Operations Managers and Leaders
    • Create agency-like search professionalism and productivity
    • Establish and upgrade management search recruiting and hiring processes/practices
    • Build a system capable of annually hiring three+ dozen experienced leaders
  • Measuring: Track, communicate and competitively impact people and business numbers
    • Create monthly reporting, and recruiting calendar for management search
    • Create then manage source channel ROI reporting & actionable recommendations
    • Develop a process for internal talent to view and apply to management opportunities
  • Scaling: Develop and deploy executive level selection & engagement training, practices
    • Coach and influence hiring manage decision making to achieve a 50% Interview: Hire closing rate, and a 45-day average time to fill
    • Deliver annual gold standard selection training to all executives, and at least quarterly interview training for all new executive managers
    • Leverage candidate feedback to improve the candidate experience and Apex employer brand

Candidate Requirements

A successful candidate will have the following criteria & competencies:

  • Bachelors degree in business or related field
  • 3+ years of prior leadership recruiting experience, preferred professional search experience
  • Successful experience partnering and driving hiring results with military recruiting programs
  • Highly motivated, passionate for talent acquisition, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong ability to communicate with everyone from a candidate to our CEO
  • Strong experience in building, then driving a scalable measurable process
  • Intensely hands on & scrappy, but able to see the strategic vision of quintupling our business and being best in the industry
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

The position will sit in Tampa, Florida, OR Dallas, TX, and will require additional travel as required to support our businesses or source key candidates anticipated at about 15% travel. This is a hybrid role where the teammate will be expected to be in office 3 days a week.

Compensation

A competitive compensation package including a monthly performance-based bonus will be available to the selected candidate with a target range in the six figures.
