Job Summary
The Corporate Recruiter will drive the overall strategy, and tactical execution to lead the recruitment efforts for Great Eastern Resorts. This individual plays a pivotal role in achieving the vision of talent acquisition, focusing on recruitment planning, sourcing, technology, process optimization, insightful data, and metrics. Manage the successful staffing of all roles on time and within budget. Drive a hiring experience that cultivates memorable candidate connections and creates enthusiastic brand stewards who align with the company's culture & values. The successful candidate must be an initiative-taker who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable operating in a constantly evolving, fast-moving, results-oriented organization.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of full cycle recruitment experience
- Experience with applicant tracking systems
- Initiative-taker with a superior work ethic and a defined sense of urgency
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
Days: Monday-Friday, including weekends and holidays as required
Hours: 8am-5pm
Full-time, with additional hours as needed for emergency response or project completion
Core Responsibilities
- Proactively source, network, and market job opportunities locally and regionally to build robust pipelines using a variety of search methods
- Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
- Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
- Perform reference checks as need
- Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
- Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
- Meet assigned hiring targets
- Maintain accurate tracking and reporting of hiring metrics actively using insights to improve the processes
- Suggest and implement relevant sourcing strategies focused on improving candidate quality and pipeline building for high-turnover and hard-to-fill recruiting
- Maintain compliance with processes and federal/state laws related to recruiting
- Work closely with operations leaders and internal stakeholders, building strong relationships
- Drive an engaging candidate experience through all touchpoints of the recruiting process
- Drive the recruitment process so that candidate decisions are made promptly
- Set and deploy recruiting strategies that grow passive and diverse sets of candidates
- Engage in activities that increase employee referrals and internal candidate pools
- Create engaging candidate marketing materials and messaging (job postings, candidate correspondence) to connect with target profiles and convert to candidates
- Attend community and/or diversity organizations, colleges, and local employment events and job fairs for the purpose of promoting our company brand. Attend both in person and virtually as applicable
