Vertical Description:

This position is responsible for supporting Samsung's full-life cycle recruiting activities for identified business units. FullLife Cycle Recruitment
Provide full-cycle recruitment for regular requisitions.
Assist leadership and hiring managers in the talent acquisition process and add value in making recruitment
strategy recommendations.
Identify positions to fill based on approved manpower (projected headcount) plans.
Scope out positions with hiring managers and define job requirements, set job level, and compensation range.
Help the hiring manager decide on the sourcing methodology, interview and selection process.
Utilize sourcing techniques to develop a candidate pipeline. If necessary work with Sourcer to help augment
pipeline.
Qualify, phone or pre-screen candidates to forward on to the hiring manager for review.
Ensure candidates meet the job requirement criteria and will be a good fit for the organization.
Conduct the interview process. Ensure candidates have a good interviewing experience by practicing great
candidate care and support. Ensure all hiring managers and interviewers follow interview guidelines.
Gather and consolidate all candidate interview evaluations for review with the hiring manager. Assist hiring
manager in making final hiring decisions, offering consultation.
Work with Compensation team to finalize offer details and negotiating range.
Gain necessary internal approvals for delivering the final offer to the candidate. Coordinate with Korean
counterparts for approval if necessary for higher-level positions.
Negotiate final offer and start date with candidate.
Finalize paperwork and pass hired candidate to HR Operations team for processing set-up and onboarding.
Ensure job files, applicant flow records are maintained and compliant. Other Recruitment Duties
Notify HR head of any issues in the recruitment process and help resolve the issue timely.
Work with Talent Acquisition Operations to contract with outside vendors when necessary to fill positions.
Start the background check process for candidates and assist with clearance when necessary.
Update Samsung ATS (Jobvite) on candidates and job posting profile

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications: BA / BS degree or equivalent and 3 + years of full lifecycle recruiting experience of engineering positions Demonstrated experience in identifying active and passive candidates by utilizing a variety of methods including social media platforms, external research, and LinkedIn. Strong track record in souring qualified candidates, lead development, negotiating offers, and influencing management decision-making. Proven ability to research and understand divisional business needs in a high tech company and implement tactical plans that will meet hiring goals. Demonstrated experience in sourcing for requisitions from opening to closure and taking responsibility to ensure successful completion. Proven experience influencing job profile and offer definition internally in addition to negotiating external offer parameters and relocation needs. Solid understanding of EEO, AA, and FLSA wage and hour laws
