As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for effectively representing CCV's values, culture, and opportunities to potential hires, building a candidate pipeline to meet hiring needs, lead the organization in hiring top talent, work closely with hiring managers to understand needs, reduce the overall time-to-hire, and ensure an excellent applicant experience. The ideal candidate is people focused, detailed oriented, and genuinely cares about providing great customer service.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the ongoing hiring needs of CCV and establish the right sourcing mix to generate a strong pool of talent that matches CCV's values and culture.
  • Collaborate with department managers and cross-functional teams to understand job requirements, develop and update job descriptions, meet sourcing needs, provide regular updates, and report on outcomes.
  • Partner with the Marketing and Communications team to design and utilize various recruiting strategies and platforms to conduct proactive candidate searches and build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Proactively source candidates through networking, resume databases, social media channels, and job fairs.
  • Leverage data analytics and metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruiting strategies.
  • Screen and evaluate candidate profiles and resumes to assess their qualifications and fit for specific roles
  • Conducting initial candidate interviews and assessments to determine suitability for specific positions
  • Manage candidate pipelines in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure a robust candidate pool for openings, and coordinating placement of candidates across campus and central roles.
  • Support the interview process by means of communication, coordination, setup, and facilitation.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition and recruitment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications in sourcing, TA, or HR are a plus.
  • 5+ years of sourcing and recruitment experience, preferably for a multi-site church or organization.
  • The Ideal candidate will be experienced in specialized recruiting or executive search.
  • Proficient in utilizing various sourcing channels, tools, and platforms to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • A strong ability to assess and evaluate candidate profiles to ensure alignment with job requirements, organizational culture, and values.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Travel time of an estimated 10% locally or out-of-state for recruitment activities.
