We are currently partnered with a growing company that happens to be a prominent player in the automotive industry, seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in ensuring that their Human Resources runs smoothly by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices.
This is a direct-hire and is an onsite (Irvine, CA) position.
Core Duties:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, managing job postings, applicant screening, interview processes, and facilitating comprehensive onboarding.
- Administer employee benefits programs, encompassing health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast of existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising management on requisite actions.
- Address internal and external HR-related inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain and update management guidelines while proposing enhancements to HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct and analyze exit interviews, providing strategic recommendations for continual improvement.
- Stay abreast of professional and technical knowledge through active participation in educational workshops, diligent review of professional publications, establishment of personal networks, and engagement in professional societies.
- Manage benefits, leaves, and workers' compensation reporting.
- Collaborate in the meticulous handling of our semi-monthly payroll for a workforce exceeding 300 employees.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in HRIS systems, with a preference for expertise in Paycom.
- Showcase a profound understanding of state and federal employment laws.
- Exercise discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Display proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of HR-related and payroll laws.
