We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our company's accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Description Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage and supervise a team of accountants, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS), tax laws, and company policies. Coordinate and oversee the preparation of tax returns, audits, and other regulatory filings. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, sales, HR) to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial processes. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Monitor and reconcile financial accounts, including bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records. Manage the year-end closing process and coordinate external audits. Prepare financial reports for senior management, providing actionable insights on business performance and financial trends. Drive process improvements within the accounting function to increase efficiency and accuracy. Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required). CPA or CMA designation (preferred). Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines. Ability to analyze financial data and provide clear insights to non-financial stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and proactive in addressing financial discrepancies.
