Salary/Salary Range
$36,830

Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education. Description
Reporting to the Director of Administrative Operations, the Executive Secretary performs clerical tasks for law school faculty members.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Types letters, class materials, outlines, reports, and exams.
- Assists patrons and visitors via phone and email.
- Maintains calendar and schedules appointments.
- Assists with travel, reception, and conference arrangements.
- Acts as a liaison between faculty and students.
- Assists faculty with tasks including emailing and posting class announcements and supplemental materials.
- May assist with administering class evaluations.
- May perform other duties not specifically identified above, but which require the same degree of skills, and which are normally included within the above job title.

Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook required.
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent judgment and organization skills.
- Ability to prioritize and work on own initiative.
- Possess professional telephone manner, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with PowerPoint and Canvas platform preferred.
