Manufacturing Technician

As a Manufacturing Technician, you perform inspections, remove burrs, and complete the finishing process using a combination of hand tools and machinery.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform part inspections
  • Use hand tools for deburring Aerospace components
  • Scan parts
  • Use of manual and automatic hand tools
  • Work with the Quality department for part approval
  • Ball sizing bores to final dimensions
  • Deburr of Servo bodies
  • Operation of CMM measuring equipment
  • Operation of EMAG deburr machine
  • Scanning and moving parts

  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of essential hand tools
  • Attention to Detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Good Hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work in an individual or team setting
  • Drive to take initiative
  • Reliable team member willing to work additional hours when needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for a 10-hour shift
  • Ability to lift to 35 pounds on occasion
  • Work is performed in a climate-controlled work environment

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts Monday – Thursday
  • Fridays are reserved for OT when necessary
  • 1st Shift 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • 2nd shift 4:15 pm – 2:45 am

Employment Criteria:

This position includes access or potential access to ITAR technical data. Therefore, candidates will need to qualify as a US Person, which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
