Advanced Practice Practitioner
to join a new
Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) . An extension of the Emergency Department, the CDU will provide short-term care for patients who need an extended diagnostic workup or a brief hospital-requiring treatment prior to discharge. The APP clinical responsibilities will include admissions, coordinating in-hospital care and transitioning patients for further outpatient services or admitting for more comprehensive management. The APP will work closely with dedicated CDU physicians to perform all tasks.
The applicant should have experience working in a hospital environment, with CDU or Emergency Department (ED) experience viewed favorably. The candidate must be motivated, work well with coworkers and patients, and possess strong leadership characteristics. The applicant will require licensure in the State of New Jersey.
