Graphic Designer for a global health and wellness client located in
Ada, Michigan . The ideal candidate will come with 3+ years of experience. This is a
part-time (20 hours per week) ,
hybrid ,
12 -month contract opportunity
with the possibility of an extension . Compensation for this position is expected to be
$32-$42/hour
depending on experience level and fit.
We are seeking a creative and versatile Graphic Designer with a strong background in both digital and print production. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity, combining remote flexibility with in-person collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a passion for creating visually compelling content, and a strong understanding of both digital and print production processes. As a key member of the creative team, you will report directly to the Creative Director and play a pivotal role in producing high-quality design assets across various platforms.
What You'll Do:
Develop and execute digital design assets for web, social media, email campaigns, and other digital marketing channels. Create and optimize graphics for responsive websites, mobile applications, and e-commerce platforms. Ensure design consistency and brand alignment across all digital assets and brands. Design print materials such as brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, and banners. Prepare files for print production, ensuring all specifications are met, including color accuracy, bleed, and resolution. Collaborate with print vendors and ensure timely delivery of high-quality printed materials. Work closely with the Creative Director, project leads and creative project manager to interpret briefs, conceptualize designs, and execute visual concepts. Translates facts and features of subject material into visuals and graphics that best convey the intended meaning Manage digital files, ensuring proper organization, version control, and adherence to project timelines Conduct quality control checks on both digital and physical assets to ensure the final product meets the highest standards. Utilize Workfront to route proofs and final files named within the job for publishing (jobs will be submitted via request queue in Workfront for review & approval prior to assignment). Balance work across digital and print projects, adjusting priorities as needed to meet the creative team's needs. What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field. 3+ years of professional graphic design experience with a focus on both digital and print production. Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design skills across digital platforms and print materials. Knowledge of design principles and theory across media types Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.). Experience in preparing files for print production, including knowledge of print processes, file formats, and specifications. Knowledge of web design principles and experience with tools like Figma, Sketch, or other UI/UX design software is a bonus
