Job Description
Primary Purpose
Supports Occupational Health Manager by effective delivery of Occupational Health Services. This includes care of employees per medical directives, policies, and procedures under supervision of the Occupational Health Manager or RN. Responsible for providing professional, clinically competent medical and administrative care in an industrial environment. Provides direct care to employees. Assists with patient education and other Wellness Center initiatives. Exemplifies excellent customer service, builds rapport with employees.
2nd Shift
Major Duties & Responsibilities Assist with post offer physicals and post-offer drug/alcohol screenings and complete all related documentation and communications. Create and maintain accurate medical records. Collaborate and communicate with Human Resources, Benefits, Safety Team and Production Teams as needed. Assist with Worker's Compensation cases including but not limited to scheduling appointments, completing 1st report of Injury/OSHA 301, providing documentation to insurance company, chart review and communication with WC insurance company Claim's Adjusters. Completes annual competencies, continuing education and maintains mandatory certifications such as CPR and licensure. Attends one off-site education or conference annually in area of specialty. Independently seeks professional development. Adhere to health management protocols, medical directives, policy and procedures and physician standing orders while following company guidelines.
Qualifications Completion of licensed practical/vocational nursing program and current unrestricted LPN license. 1+ year experience performing occupational health, emergency room, public health, physician's office, or another relevant medical field preferred. Current CPR/First Aid/AED Card required. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Excellent written and verbal skills.
