Job Description
- Responsible for creating and maintaining project budget with respective cost codes
- Develop and train Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers
- Review all project RFI's and provide recommendations of options to the architect
- Develop and maintain project schedule and lead all change requests
- Proven track record of leading subcontractor project meetings
- Facilitate communication and coordination of subcontractors
- Support business development efforts by maintaining a positive client relationship to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensure quality and drive implementation of project safety plan
- Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Engineer to ensure timely project deliverable
- Manage buy-out and project closeout processes
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
- Over 7 years of experience in construction, with a history of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with multifamily projects.
- Knowledgeable in skilled trades such as carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Proficient in commercial construction technology and details, with the ability to review and understand all construction documents, including specifications and drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
