We have a Marketing Communications Internship available for the Summer 2025. The ideal candidate must possess a strong sense of collaboration and ownership in addition to communication, concept development, research, problem-solving and presentation skills. This position will provide support in communicating the company's brand and the department's vision through multiple channels.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist initiation and execution of thought leadership (editorial calendar); brainstorm topics, interview staff of all levels, generate outlines, and help shape content consistent with Clark Dietz brand and voice
- Serve as a connection from marketing to the engineering intern class
- Using thought leadership/blog content, assist with creating pitch-ready briefs for press distribution; explore audience growth methods
- Assist with maintaining social media presence & calendar, actively seek timely topics from staff to promote; create a backlog of serial content
- Explore ways to share Clark Dietz's culture as an employee benefit as well as commitment to community
- Maintain internal communication with SharePoint updates and staff highlights
- Aid updates to the conference, speaking opportunity, and award submittal calendar
- Miscellaneous light graphic design and video projects for advertisements, social, presentation materials, or general office documents
- Enforcement of brand standards as it relates to content driven marketing materials
- Work collaboratively with staff across multiple offices
- Review content for errors (QA/QC) and approach assignments with precision and passion
- Assist with updating company website in WordPress
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with efficiency
- Sophomore, Jr. or Sr. standing with declared major in marketing, communications, public relations, or creative writing is desired
- Previous experience developing content for blogs, proposals, thought leadership articles, email marketing, and press releases is desired
- Experience creating differentiated content across marketing channels is desired
- Some graphic experience with print, web, and social media
- Strong ability to prioritize and multitask in collaborative environment
- Ability to liaise with graphics contractors/resources
- Experience with CRMs (Deltek a plus), WordPress, and SEO is a plus
- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is desired
- Light video content creation/editing a plus
- Willingness to improve skills within other Adobe products (Premier)
- Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (PC based) and Microsoft Office Suite is required
