Overview:
The Senior Events Operations Manager ?reports to the Director of Business Development and Event Operations and ?oversees all logistics and staffing of the Operations department focused on event support, part-time staffing and logistics to achieve set goals, activate events facilities, lead with customer service excellence for internal and external customers, pursue opportunities for organizational efficiency and growth, greater productivity and cost-savings.
The Senior Events Operations Manager is responsible for managing all staff, new hires and development of team members on these teams, including monthly team meetings, one on one supervision and coaching, leading monthly cross-departmental event meetings.
The The Senior Events Operations Manager serves as a critical SPIRE team member in a leadership capacity, collaborating across all departments, maintaining strong positive relationships and contributing to global solutions and efficiencies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Event Operations
- Serve as the expert and manager of all events and rentals on SPIRE campus with responsibility of the overall execution and success; including community events, rentals, and general SPIRE event facility users.
- Oversee all event logistics pre, onsite and post events, including the set-up, tear-down and transitioning of events.
- Effectively manage the support team on each event, delegating tasks, quality control, providing constructive feedback, and training where needed.
- Motivate, mentor and lead a team to execute tasks and exceed expectations.
- Build and manage the event operations budget, developing, updating and analyzing post event reconciliation in Tripleseat.
- Maintain accurate files with accuracy, including all event critical documents, reporting and communications, including oversight of the master campus calendar in Tripleseat.
- Work in partnership with and communicate thoroughly with the Events BD, Finance and Operations team.
- Collaborate with Academy and Camps on campus activation and shared calendars, building supportive schedules to ensure student athlete training, practice and competition focus.
- Consult on new business opportunities and provide thoughtful feedback on event feasibility, challenges, opportunities, anticipated costs, staffing and logistical needs.
- Provide customer service excellence to all SPIRE vendors, customers and partners.
- Present SPIRE and team to potential clients including high profile prospects in a professional manner.
Staffing Oversight
- Oversee the part-time staffing coordinator, providing support for all Event Operations needs
- ??Oversee Life-Guarding staff for Fit and daily operations???
- ???Oversee a team of Event Managers????
- ??Support the inter-departmental engagement of part-time staff including Academy & Camps, FUEL Cafeteria, Performance & Fit, Life-Guards, Event Concessions and Vending, Team Meals and Banquet food service? ??
- ???Other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development and Event Operations, which may include and is not limited to, chairing and participating in committees, supervising staff, consulting on projects, and assisting other departments?????? ??

Compensation:
- Annual Salary of $60,000
