We're looking for an experienced NDT PT Inspector II candidate. You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and highly motivated team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • NDT Execution: Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) using techniques such as Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT) with a focus on fluorescent Penetrant.
  • Material Evaluation & Indication Analysis: Assess materials and parts for quality compliance, interpret and analyze test results to identify defects or anomalies.
  • Technical Resolution & Inspection Methods: Resolve technical queries, perform mechanical and electronic inspections on production components to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Equipment Management & Routine Maintenance: Set up and maintain NDT equipment, performing routine maintenance and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation, including findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Collaboration & Compliance: Work with engineering and production teams to address quality issues, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and adhere to company policies.
  • Procedure Development & Training: Assist in developing and refining NDT procedures, train and mentor junior NDT inspectors, and stay updated with advancements in NDT technology and best practices.
  • Project Participation & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to NDT-related projects, share knowledge with team members, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Qualifications:

Skills:
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards, blueprint interpretation, GD&T principles, and inspection techniques.
  • Problem-Solving: Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Good communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Project Support: Ability to support and contribute to quality improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Documentation: Attention to detail in maintaining accurate and comprehensive quality documentation.
Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Valid NDT Level II certification in Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPT).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in non-destructive testing within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace materials, components, and industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ASME, ISO).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using NDT equipment and software.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
