Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor a team of HVAC installers and service technicians.
- Provide coaching and training to enhance technical skills and customer service.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee scheduling and dispatching of service calls via Service Titan software.
- Monitor and manage work orders, ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain inventory of parts and equipment necessary for service calls.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through service excellence.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Assist technicians with complex troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Conduct quality control inspections on completed jobs.
- Assist in budget planning and tracking for the service department.
- Monitor expenses, labor costs, and materials to optimize profitability.
- Generate regular reports on service department performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
- Proven leadership experience, including team management and coaching.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient in computer applications, including service management software Service Titan and Google Suite.
- EPA Universal certification, OSHA preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record and background check.
