Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in month end, financial statements, and audit. This is a permanent position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the month-end financial close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage the annual audit process, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of audit schedules
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Provide strategic financial analysis and guidance to senior management on business performance and financial trends
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting capabilities
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Experience with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Experience managing audits and working with external auditors
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
