Location: Longmeadow, MA
Job Length: ASAP - 6/13/25
Job Type: Full Time - 35+ hours per week

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments and empowering students to achieve success.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess sign language needs for students.
2. Teach sign language instruction for students in conjunction with regular classroom curriculum as appropriate for each student.
3. Work with interpreters to develop hearing impaired student support schedules.
4. Use and teach the use of augmentative and assistive technology.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in Deaf Education or a related field.
2. Valid Massachsuetts certification as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher.
3. Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
