Direct Hire Position:

Hours: Sunday - Wednesday 9p-7a, overtime possibilities

Job Description:

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and debugs progressive die tooling. Repair of any problems.
• Capable to direct engineering changes, replacement parts, gauges and special tooling.
• Plans jobs and routes throughout shop working
• Performs in-process inspections.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair dies in press if needed
• Completes safety inspections on tools prior to sending to production.
• Installs tool sensors when applicable
• Provide Engineering expertise, direction and assistance as required in resolving tooling related problems.
• Assist in the development and the maintenance of tooling.
• Develops, proposes and implements tooling and equipment improvements to foster an environment of continuous improvement on the shop floor
• Must be able to keep accurate die maintenance records.
