Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a company in the Kansas City Metro area to fill an Accounting Manager need with a small to mid-sized business in KC.
Key Responsibilities:
Review Journal Entries: Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Posting Journal Entries: Timely and accurate posting of journal entries to the general ledger.
Hitting Hard Deadlines: Manage workload to meet strict deadlines, especially during month-end and year-end close.
Reconciliations: Perform and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Compliance and Audit: Oversee compliance with internal controls and assist with external audit requirements.
Reporting: Jump in with reports, providing timely and accurate financial information to management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
