LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a company in the Kansas City Metro area to fill an Accounting Manager need with a small to mid-sized business in KC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Journal Entries: Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

  • Posting Journal Entries: Timely and accurate posting of journal entries to the general ledger.

  • Hitting Hard Deadlines: Manage workload to meet strict deadlines, especially during month-end and year-end close.

  • Reconciliations: Perform and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Compliance and Audit: Oversee compliance with internal controls and assist with external audit requirements.

  • Reporting: Jump in with reports, providing timely and accurate financial information to management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

  • Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
