Job Title: Stand-Up Forklift Driver
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Openings: 6 (3 Day Shift, 3 Night Shift)
Join a fast-paced, dynamic team at a leading food and beverage manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX. We are seeking skilled and reliable Stand-Up Forklift Drivers to support our warehouse and production operations. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient movement of materials and finished goods while maintaining a high standard of safety and accuracy.
Shifts Available:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM on a 2x2x3 schedule (3 openings). Pay Rate- $20.09/hr
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM on a 2x2x3 schedule (3 openings). Pay Rate- $20.39/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to move raw materials, finished goods, and other products throughout the facility.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper placement and secure stacking.
- Supply production lines with necessary materials and remove finished goods in a timely manner to prevent delays.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts to ensure safe and optimal operation, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and ensure accurate documentation.
- Follow all company policies, including safety protocols, GMPs, and food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues proactively.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives to support facility goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience operating a stand-up forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food or beverage manufacturing is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills to utilize warehouse management systems and other tools.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work the assigned 2x2x3 schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
