Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/13/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL - Be advised: ICU RN's will be required to float to other level units including MS/TELE if requested. Unit manager looking for RN's with Level 1, teaching and large hospital experience. 7 Adult ICU s with the largest being 32 beds REQUIRED: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies and procedures. Directs and manages the care of designated patients. Utilizes effective and appropriate communication styles. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served. Certifications - Required AHA BLS - Basic Life Support CertificateAHA ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support CertificateAHA NIHSS Education - Required Graduate of accredited Nursing program. Experience - Required: 1 year Acute Care Experience and/or experience congruent with role in service line.
