Stores Foundational AI (SFAI) provides foundational AI models for other Amazon teams, such as the Amazon Rufus conversational shopping product. We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager for our Training Engineering team. You'll be working with talented scientists, engineers, and technical program managers (TPM) to innovate on behalf of our customers. Key Job Responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), you will define, own and drive technical programs that span multiple engineering/science teams and organizational boundaries. You will help identify new areas of investment and work to align engineering/science roadmaps to deliver on these opportunities and optimize delivery outcomes. You will help the team manage roadmap, budget, and resources (such as GPUs). As a technical leader, you will influence strategy and outcomes across different Amazon organizations.

This role is inherently cross-functional and requires a strong ability to communicate, influence, and earn the trust of software engineers, technical and business leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  2. 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  3. Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
  4. Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  5. Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
  6. Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  2. Experience in managing LLM or AI programs.
