We are currently seeking a Loading Dock Installer/Specialist to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of loading dock equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering top-notch results in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment, including dock levelers, vehicle restraints, dock seals, and shelters, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Conduct site assessments to confirm installation readiness and resolve potential challenges.
- Assemble, align, and secure new equipment for proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly, providing on-site repairs and adjustments as needed.
- Test and inspect all installed or repaired equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Travel as necessary to customer sites, job locations, or other facilities to perform installations, repairs, and assessments.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance installation processes and address technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls, including completing necessary documentation.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing guidance on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the manager.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-3 years of experience in equipment installation, construction, or a related field.
- Technical training or certification in mechanical or electrical systems is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and customer service abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
