ADT is looking for an Entry Level Alarm Technician to join their Savannah Area Team!

Job Duties:
- This job entails residential alarm installation, as well as Google Home Products. Customer service is key for this position.
- 2-4 week training period with an experienced technician
- getting to know residential customer's needs/wants/concerns while installing security systems
- Cabling - ie. CAT5, CAT6, etc.
- Servicing alarm panels
- Servicing and Installing Cameras
- Servicing and Installing window/door contacts
- Servicing and Installing Google Home Products
- Upselling/Customer Education
Top Skills - not all required, but a plus:
- ** Excellent customer service skills are a must. Comfortable in a customer-facing role/personable
- Previous residential installation or customer service experience
- Self-starter that wants to learn new technologies and are tech-savvy
- Cabling/wiring experience - CAT5, CAT6, Coax, etc.
- Troubleshooting
- Fire Alarm/Burglar Alarm/CCTV/Access Control installs (a plus)
Additional information:
- All PPE gear & shirts are provided
- Must be able to use their own vehicle to travel from job to job daily, able to carry and transport a ladder, have basic hand tools, and able to maintain proper security systems inventory organized
- This company pays highly competitive rates for this skillset and will offer the technician an opportunity to earn uncapped commission on customer upsells.
- This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to go permanent with the company after 6 months - once permanent, technician will have Company Vehicle, Gas Card, etc.
