Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Probate Attorney with a strong background in litigation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling probate cases, including estate administration, wills, trusts, and representing clients in contested probate proceedings. Responsibilities: • Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of probate matters, both uncontested and contested. • Litigation: Represent clients in probate litigation, including court appearances, hearings, and trials. • Client Relations: Provide knowledgeable legal advice to clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. • Documentation: Draft, review, and file necessary legal documents such as wills, trusts, petitions, and motions. • Collaboration: Work closely with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case progression. • Compliance: Stay updated on federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to probate and estate planning. • Business Development: Assist in developing the firm's probate practice by participating in networking events and fostering professional relationships. Qualifications: • Active membership with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in probate law with significant litigation experience. Compensation: $70,000 - $120,000 yearly
