Pick and Packer Assembler

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently packing products for shipment, ensuring that all items are securely packaged and labeled according to company standards. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy and quality, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Duties Pack products into boxes or containers for shipment, ensuring proper packaging techniques are utilized. Inspect items for quality assurance before packing to prevent damage during transit. Label packages accurately with shipping information and tracking numbers. Operate heavy equipment such as cherry pickers and order pickers safely and efficiently. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading trucks and organizing inventory. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Perform materials handling tasks, including stock rotation and inventory management. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating various equipment safely. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial. Experience with heavy equipment operation, particularly cherry pickers and order pickers, is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and packaging standards. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Knowledge of materials handling best practices is an advantage.
