Make Your Mark at Prysmian Group - Join Us (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVx-NAGfjEs&feature=embtitle) Summary Prysmian Cables and Systems USA LLC is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to collaborate with regional sales and market managers to support sales opportunities and growth and maintain customer satisfaction. Duties Manage and prioritize customer escalations to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain regulatory compliance with current electrical codes and industry standards. Collaborate with clients and internally regarding project status. Identify and develop new business opportunities to maintain and grow the sales pipeline. Develop technical solutions to meet customer business needs. Document competitors’ activities for market intelligence. Review and influence customer specifications to assure compliance, and Prysmian participation. Make technical presentations to all levels of the customer organization. Support development of engineering, testing, schedules, and cost estimates to facilitate total scope project offerings. Put together quality and timely technical scopes, solutions, and customer benefits to be incorporated into proposal documents. Responsible for technical leadership on all Field Service proposals, including customer bid reviews, specification reviews, and competitive analysis. Analyze data and product specifications to ensure the finished product meets client needs. Develop and conduct customer installation training for fire-rated systems requiring manufacturer certification, including splice assembly and system demonstrations. Recommend and assist the business unit Product Management team with R&D initiatives meeting current or future electrical industry code requirements. 50% travel throughout North America, including to client sites. May work remotely. Requirements Employer requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering. 3 years' experience working in customer facing environment. Work experience in the electrical industry or wire and cable. Valid driver's license.
