Overview Human Resources Intern Position Summary The HR Intern will be responsible for partnering with the Cretex Companies HR team to execute key initiatives including, deployment of talent management strategies, development of standard work, assistance with training plans and strategies, implementation of employee engagement and recognition activities, data analysis, and HR automation. This Human Resources Intern position will be located in Elk River, MN. This internship will also be an on-site position, working 40 hours. Responsibilities Human Resources Intern Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the deployment of talent management strategies Create flow charts and standard work for HR processes Perform analysis on position descriptions, classifications, and compensation Research and present on industry trends and best practices for HR disciplines Assist in coordinating and facilitating comprehensive and sustainable strategies Propose opportunities for continued improvement Analyze and interpret data in order to support the objectives of the HR department Develop reports, dashboards, and predictive models Present data to the HR team and Area Managers. Assist in the preparation for increased HR automation Act as key contact within Corporate HR for the intern program Ensure program components are being carried out within operating companies Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve Qualifications Human Resources Intern Qualifications Pursuing a degree in the Human Resources field Desire to work with the sense of ownership and urgency to see all projects through to completion Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to prioritize and multitask Desirable Criteria & Qualifications Previous HR internship experience Certificates Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations What to Expect from an Internship with Cretex Companies?
