At CESO, a Senior Survey CAD Technician assists our land survey team in the analysis and preparation of multiple types of surveys. As your expertise grows, so will the scope of your responsibilities for a wide range of commercial, residential, and energy projects. You will have primary responsibilities that will include: Work with Survey Project Managers and Field Survey Crews Assist with the preparation of boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, easement exhibits, subdivision plats, oil and gas well plats, and other survey deliverables Understand civil engineering and survey drawings Prepare 2-D and 3-D detailed electronic maps, drawings, exhibits, descriptions, and records using computer-assisted drafting software (CAD), including AutoCAD and Civil-3D Understand 3-D surfaces, features, and line coding Perform courthouse and utility research Prepare basic legal descriptions Assist in other survey duties as needed Local travel as needed Position requirements include: Associate degree in AutoCAD design or related field; 2-4 years of experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Civil 3D experience preferred Survey-related background Survey industry standards and procedure knowledge is a plus Valid Driver's License CESO is a principle-centered organization that aligns with strong service values, integrity, and authenticity.
