Ardurra is seeking an experienced Entry Level Civil CAD Designer/Drafter to support our office in Wenatchee, WA! Must have a civil background and experience with Autodesk Civil 3D Key Responsibilities - - Ability to transform initial designs, sketches or redlines/mark-ups into finished graphics and construction drawings. ```{=html} ``` - - Prepare, review plans, and provide quantity takeoffs for a wide variety of civil, transportation, and airport engineering projects. ```{=html} ``` - - Produce erosion and sediment control plans, grading and drainage plans, utility plans, and roadway plans. ```{=html} ``` - - Assist engineering design staff with production of contract plans and cost estimates for civil engineering projects. ```{=html} ``` - - Work independently to achieve tasks with little oversight from engineers and project managers. ```{=html} ``` - - Work well in multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, surveyors, etc. with varying degrees of experience. ```{=html} ``` - - Ability to eventually mentor, train, and lead entry-level drafters and engineers. ```{=html} ``` - - Assist with administrative office tasks such as managing inventory and supply ordering, greeting guests and walk-ins, and shipping/receiving. ```{=html} ``` - - Provide on-site review of design documents and occasional on-site construction observation for short duration project assignments or fill-in for staff members who are away on PTO. Required Qualifications - - Associate of Arts in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) with at least 1 additional year of experience in the civil engineering field. ```{=html} ``` - - Ability to follow basic CAD standards and learn company standards. ```{=html} ``` - - Ability to draw plans efficiently and accurately using CAD software. ```{=html} ``` - - Understanding of road, intersection, drainage, and utility design. ```{=html} ``` - - Experience in any of the following sectors: Municipal, Transportation, Land Development, and Airports. ```{=html} ``` - - Knowledge of grading, alignments, corridors, and pipe networks. ```{=html} ``` - - Good written and oral communication abilities and interpersonal skills ```{=html} ``` - - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. ```{=html} ``` - - Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and meticulous with details. ```{=html} ``` - - Business development and client relationship skills. ```{=html} ``` - - Good understanding of financial management and budgeting. ```{=html} ``` - - Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects. ```{=html} ``` - - Willingness to learn new software and products.
