Now, we are looking to expand our team and bring on talented Electrician Apprenticesfor an exciting opportunity at the Naval Submarine Kings Bay Basein Georgia. Position Overview:As an Electrician Apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience while learning the electrical trade from journeyman electricians. This is a structured 4-year training programthat combines 576 hours of related instructionwith 8,000 hours of on-the-job trainingto set you on the path to becoming a skilled journeyman electrician. This program is ideal for anyone eager to build a long-term career in the electrical field. All work is performed on the military base, and apprentices will be paid at the Davis-Bacon prevailing wagespecific to the Kings Bay, GA military base. Responsibilities: Assist journeyman electricians with the layout, assembly, and installation of electrical systems on active construction sites. Ensure work complies with all relevant codes and safety regulations. Gain exposure to technical mechanical principles and electrical systems in real-world applications. Follow all required safety practices while contributing to the success of the project. Schedule and Benefits: Mandatory In-Person Weekly Class Schedule:Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM Overtime Opportunitiespotentially available Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(K) with company match Requirements: A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required; courses in construction management or trade school are preferred but not necessary. Previous work in the construction industry or with electrical systems is a plus. Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, OSHA-30, and EM-385 are beneficial, with training available. Why Join Us?
