Inside Account Manager

Join Egan Company as an Inside Account Manager within our Service team! In this role you will be responsible for supporting customers, technicians and directly supporting dispatch and account managers.
ResponsibilitiesThe basic responsibilities of the Inside Account Manager include, but are not limited to the following:
- Direct Support to Account Managers and Field in the Service group.
- Facilitate proposals to customers for repairs and small projects - under the direction of the Account Managers or field staff.
- Manage components of quotes/repairs/service calls to include:
- Notify Dispatch and sales team of parts arrival.
- Purchasing of equipment and material.
- Obtain proper licensing, permitting, and insurance.
- Issue, manage and coordinate subcontractor purchase orders with Dispatch and Sales team.
- COI/W9/Bond Requests
- Maintain/verify current pricebook of stock items from our vendors.
- Assist with Technician record keeping such as licenses, profiles, training, etc.
- Facilitate with warehouse staff on tracking of incoming parts and equipment.
- Working with Account Managers and vendors on equipment or parts returns.
- Working with Account Managers and vendors on parts warranties.
- Process permit requests.
- Organize, submit and track RPZ/Fire Inspections for Egan Company utilizing appropriate software systems and databases.
- Manage stock refrigerant and reclaim tanks, including delivery and pick up of tanks.
- Process Equipment Rebates for any and all service related offerings such as boiler, LED lighting and new equipment.
- Direct Support for Egan Customer Portal and Copper Integration, including payment processing on a customer's behalf.
- Maintain exceptional communication and time management skills in a high-paced customer service environment.
- Providing a high level of detail to support customer record keeping.
- Promote all service offerings: mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building automation, fire, security systems, and monitoring.
- Support Account Managers in managing their collectibles.
- Support Accounting with backup documentation per customer or contract billing.
- Support and administer department focused projects.
- Attend required meetings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years of sales or sales-related experience, preferably within mechanical, electrical, or limited energy.
- Working knowledge of estimating processes and procedures including equipment and parts ordering.
- Ability to present to both internal and external groups.
- Ability to learn and promote other areas of the business.
- Proficient in the use of standard office computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Strong organizational skills to deal with competing customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong desire to grow professionally and to learn and retain technical information.
- Performance of duties will be mostly in the office, with visits to customer sites and job sites on occasion.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- On jobsites expect exposure to loud noise, dirt, and to the elements, along with climbing ladders/stairs, uneven ground, bending, kneeling, and twisting are to be expected on job sites.

Pay Range: $26.31-$32.48 per hour (subject to such factors as experience, education, and/or skill set), plus potential annual discretionary bonus.
