Summary CHENEGA HEALTHCARE SERVICES, LLC Picatinny Arsenal, NJ The Supply Technician (Hazmart) shall provide the documentation (automated and manual) according to STAMIS/AIS system and functional area at Picatinny Arsenal. Responsibilities Requisition through local purchase and SARSS system, receive, process, issue, turn-in, redistribute, deliver, maintain traction file, and operate Hazardous Material Management System (HMMS). Track property and supply movement, assist with bills of lading, supply management, storage, packing and shipping, and document control. Track all hazardous material/ hazardous waste (HM/HW) being received, stored, and transferred utilizing Enterprise Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management System (EESOH-MIS). Must be highly proficient in all aspects of HAZMAT as related to this effort. Must have appropriate experience in conducting inspections and investigations in the enforcement of hazardous materials regulations. Provide professional courteous customer service, and communication skills for interfacing with military, government, and civilian customers. Create and update inventory records and makes periodic physical inventories to reconcile physical count with the inventory records. Checks incoming material for quality and quantity against invoices, purchase orders, packing slips, contract order release forms, or other documents. Safely operate industrial forklifts from 4,000 lbs. to 10,000 lbs. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Ability to obtain Hazwopper 40 hr. Certification Possess valid State Driver’s License. Minimum four (4) plus years of supply technician experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Journeyman credentials through an accredited apprenticeship, trade school, or training program.
