Multimedia Production Specialist

STV is seeking a Multimedia Production Specialist to work with our corporate communications team in our New York, NY office. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office).
This position will require someone who has had experience creating short-form social media video content. The Multimedia Production Specialist will have a social-first mindset and manage pre-production (planning), production (filming and/or project managing) and post-production (editing) on short-form creative video projects that aligns with business goals.
This individual will develop a long-term video strategy, create new social media video content, and own STV's video guidelines and processes. The successful candidate will strengthen our online identity while tailoring the dissemination of video content to the various audiences we are trying to reach. This person is also responsible for tracking and reporting content performance, providing active input on ways to optimize campaigns for continued improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and manage all short-form social media videos, corporate video initiatives and other multimedia projects
- Project managing short-form video projects, including in-house shoots as well as managing campaigns with freelance videographers throughout North America
- Work with social media team to develop unique video campaigns for STV's social media channels (including LinkedIn and Instagram)
- Edit and maintain a core catalog of company b-roll and other existing video footage
- Analyze performance of video content (in partnership with social media and other Communications colleagues) and provide guidance to optimize for online audience growth and expansion of brand awareness
- Develop Communications' video strategy in alignment with business goals and STV's Strategic Plan; update on a semi-regular basis
- Support training for select staff, as necessary, on video best practices and strategy alignment
- Research and identify emerging video trends; share timely insights with Communications colleagues on an ongoing basis
Requirements
- Strong video editing skills, as well as interest in video strategy
- Astute storytelling abilities
- Proficiency with various video programs and software
- Ability to manage concurrent assignments under strict deadlines
- Previous project management experience: candidate is organized, decisive and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills

Level of Experience; Education
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing or Liberal Arts, or an industry-related field
- Digital Marketing agency experience preferred
Compensation Range:
