Responsibilities

JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a dedicated Interventional Radiology Technician who is passionate about the health and well being of our patients to operate specialized radiological equipment to provide imaging for neuro, general, operative, and intervention procedures and perform duties within multiple specialty areas. 

Working in a fast pace and critical environment alongside Neuro- Endovascular surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Fellows and residents providing life saving treatment for stroke and trauma patients. Using cutting edge equipment and products the team performs procedures such as stroke treatment, chemotherapy treatments (Y90's), embolizations as well as routine spine and GI procedures for our patients. This is the place to learn from the best mentors and physicians at SJHMC and Barrow. Technologists also are responsible for patient safety, radiation safety, supplies and charging of complicated exams as well as other duties.

All duties of Radiation Specialist Technician and is multifunctional in all areas of Interventional Radiology without any assistance required. May have additional duties delegated such as safety, supplies, contrast, staff/patient scheduling, and training.

Located in Phoenix, AZ, this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Two (2) years experience in interventional radiology or related experience required.

Vascular Interventional (VI) registery is preferred.

Primary certification by the ARRT in Radiography (R) and AZ MRTBE licensure required.

ARRT post-primary pathway certification, e.g., Vascular Interventional (VI) preferred.

Completion of approved American College of Radiology: Radiologic Technologist Program

Film quality control and PACS experience preferred
