Volt is immediately hiring a Picker/ Packer in ATHENS, Texas 75751.
As a Picker/ Packer- you will be.
JOB TITLE: Picker/ Packer
All applicants must pass a matching and a math test (about 8th grade level). All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
We may train on days depending on business needs. Sometimes a person can move directly to day shift but is more the exception than the rule.
Preferred: Previous Forklift/Warehouse experience - but not required will train.
Transports merchandise onto worktables, pallets, conveyors, push carts, bins, shelves, trailers, staging areas, forklifts, and/or trucks.
Counts all merchandise shipped and received to maintain inventory. Compares amount and type of merchandise received with invoices and purchase orders.
Ability to operate motorized material handling equipment
Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Locates and prepares product for shipping and affixes proper label. Checks order to ensure accuracy. May load into truck.
Job requires repeated lifting (40 pounds), bending, reaching, twisting, and standing.

Pay: $16/hr
