About the Role:

Provides administrative support to executive level staff, specifically the Chief Human Resource Officer & Chief Administrative Officer.

* Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the President's ability to effectively lead the organization, including assisting with special projects, designing, and producing complex documents, reports and presentations, collecting and preparing information for meetings for executive staff, the Board and other outside parties, composing and preparing correspondence, maintaining contact list, making travel arrangements, and completing expense reports.

* Responsible for providing administrative support using independent judgement, discretion and initiative while handling highly confidential and critical information.

* Arrange and manage logistics for Board/Divisional meetings and events including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and developing, and distributing presentation materials.

* Provide sophisticated calendar and travel management for the President including coordinating offsite meeting as necessary.

* Prioritize inquiries and requests while trouble shooting conflicts; makes judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements. Coordinates offsite meetings and arrangements.

* Function as a liaison and handle all logistics for meetings and events, including scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, developing, compiling, and distributing presentation materials and recording meetings minutes.

* Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities - knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.

* Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.

* Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.

* May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.

* Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Umpqua corporate culture in all actions and words.

About You:

* H.S. Diploma/GED, required.

* Business degree or experience in relevant field, preferred.

* 7-10 years of experience as an executive administrative assistant supporting

* Executive leadership positions.

* In-depth knowledge of company operations, policies, and procedures.

* Exceptional organization skills and impeccable attention to detail.

* Ability to multi-task and work independently.

* Excellent communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills are essential.

* Strong knowledge of office management and administration.

* Ability to plan, organize and oversee the work of administrative staff.

* High degree of professionalism working with a diverse group of individuals including Board members, senior executives, staff, external customers, and partners.

* Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office. Advanced skills using spreadsheets is required.

* Ability to train and present to small and large audiences.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all circumstances.

Workstyle: Fully onsite.

Travel Type: Occasional.

Our Benefits:

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $65,000.00 - $95,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
