The Accounting Clerk serves as a backup for the Corporate Disbursements department. Backup responsibilities include processing payments for multiple companies, verifying check request coding and approval, updating and maintaining vendor information, researching payment inquiries, processing rush items to ensure payments are made timely, and other tasks as assigned. Other responsibilities will include scanning, reviewing and coding expense reports, preparing vendor payments, and assisting with other various accounts payable functions. This position interacts with various levels of management and service providers, so a high standard of customer service is essential.

Position Requirements:

  • 1-2 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Analytical, logical and math skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills

Excellent organizational and project management skills
