Job description Main HQ Accounting Manager

Position Summary
We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Oversight of all accounting staff
Prepare & approve all payments, check runs, ACHs
Daily cash & banking management & cashflow
AR aging, collections, reporting
Oversight of internal credit card process
Manages close timeline, establishes a close calendar and team tasks
Fixed Asset & Vehicle management
Insurance Management
Inventory management - cycle counts & reconciliations
Prepares Monthly financial statements
Performs monthly consolidation of entities
Cash & Bank account reconciliations
Intercompany management (JEs: Inv, AP, Cash, CCs)

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong preference for candidates with experience at a mid-to-large size company ($100M+ in annual revenue)
• Experience managing a team of accounting staff
• Public accounting experience a plus
• Continuous improvement mindset, with desire to question and improve processes
• Strong excel skills
• Consolidations background
• ERP experience, strong preference for QuickBooks
