Cybersecurity Engineer* Job at TalentSource in Elkhart

Are you a Cybersecurity Engineer looking for a role with a growing company in Elkhart, IN?

The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing cybersecurity measures, performing penetration testing, researching new attack vectors, and responding to security incidents within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, maintain, and test security solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
• Research and recommend policies and procedures to prevent, and defend against, unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
• Utilize threat intelligence, and experience, to perform active threat hunting.
• Investigate, mitigate, and document security incidents.
• Frequently audit policies and procedures to ensure compliance within the enterprise.
• Report to members of senior management on potential threats, proposed improvements, and ongoing security issues.
• Develop dashboards, direct alerting, and risk-based alerting.
• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
• Interface with technical and non-technical users to conduct fact-finding interviews.
• Lead vulnerability and pen test campaigns, working with other IT staff, to guide patching and remediation.

Qualifications:

• 5 + years of experience in enterprise and/or application cybersecurity.
• 2 + years of cloud experience with Microsoft Azure
• Hold an active cybersecurity certification, such as SANS certs, Security+, CISA, OSCP, or CISSP (Preferred).
• Experience within the manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to remain in a sedentary position for extended lengths of time
• Ability to travel if necessary - 5% to 10%
• May occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, and mandatory hearing protection.

Location: Elkhart, IN
Pay: 75-85k with Bonus!
