C & B Material Handling, LLC (part of the C & B Equipment family), a leader and supplier of choice in material handling equipment, automation solutions, and industrial equipment rental, is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst for our location in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our digital assets by detecting, responding to, and preventing cyberattacks. You will report to the Director of IT and collaborate with a talented IT team to monitor network traffic, conduct vulnerability assessments, and implement proactive security measures and compliance.

Essential Duties:
- Network Security: Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of security solutions (e.g., routers, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) to safeguard network infrastructure from unauthorized access and attacks.
- Information Security: Protect sensitive data by implementing encryption, data masking, IAM, DLP, and access control policies to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Endpoint Security: Manage endpoint protection across devices using antivirus, encryption, and monitoring tools to detect and mitigate threats.
- Application & Web Security: Collaborate with development teams to enforce secure coding practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure robust application security through regular updates and testing.
- Cloud Security: Secure cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, MS365) by adhering to best practices, managing encryption, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Disaster Recovery & Continuity: Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure swift recovery from cyberattacks or disruptions.
- Incident Response: Assist in planning, detecting, mitigating, and analyzing security incidents while reporting on metrics and KPIs.
- Cybersecurity Training: Develop and deliver employee training on security best practices, responsibilities, and remediation measures.
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks to support organizational IT and security objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst, System Administrator, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and common configuration standards such as NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or ISO/IEC 27001
- Familiarity with security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience with cloud security, virtualization, network protocols, encryption methods, and risk management
- Certifications such as Microsoft SOAA, ISC² SSCP, or CompTIA Sec+ are highly desirable
