About the role

Lead and manage all areas of the restaurant, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and standards. Drive revenue and profit targets, oversee front-of-house (FOH) decisions, and manage costs. Maintain high standards of guest and employee satisfaction, while elevating the brand's reputation.

  • Overseeing day to day restaurant operations with strong emphasis on FOH.
  • Manage a team consisting of Wine Director, Service Director and 10 hourly employees (3 captains, 2 sommeliers, 2 server assistants, 2 reservations/hosts)
  • Reporting intro the Director of Operations
  • 20 seater restaurant with 2 seatings.
  • Will receive support from the group for admin
Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 months of Restaurant General Manager experience in a ** or *** Michelin-starred restaurant OR 2 or 3 Hat restaurant.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and guest satisfaction.
  • Expertise in financial management, including P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Strong knowledge of fine dining operations, including Michelin standards.
  • Proficiency in relevant technology: POS, reservation systems, and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on leadership style.
Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service
  • Maintain Michelin-level service standards; coach staff in French service techniques and guest engagement.
  • Oversee daily operations, including policies, service standards, and guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Chef on menu changes and Lead Sommelier on beverage offerings.
Team Development
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews for FOH staff.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, feedback, and development opportunities for team growth.
Financial Management
  • Meet financial goals; oversee P&L, budgets, and cost controls for labor, inventory, and payroll.
  • Analyze sales trends, implement strategies to increase revenue, and monitor financial performance.
Human Resources & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee health, safety, and sanitation protocols, maintaining compliance with high cleanliness standards.

O1 Visa Requirements :

Overview:

The O-1 visa is designed for individuals with extraordinary ability in their field, including hospitality and culinary professionals. Applicants must demonstrate sustained national or international acclaim and industry recognition.

Qualifications:

Leadership in Michelin-Star Establishments:
  • Managed operations in ** or *** Michelin-starred restaurants OR 2 or 3 Hat restaurant
  • Proven contributions to achieving or maintaining Michelin stars.
Awards and Recognitions:
  • Personal accolades for excellence in management (e.g., industry awards).
  • Participation in high-profile events or panels.
Media Coverage:
  • Featured in prominent industry publications, interviews, or press. Must have press recognition
Memberships:
  • Member of prestigious organizations similar.
Unique Industry Contributions:
  • Introduced innovative management systems or guest experience programs.
  • Developed distinctive training protocols or operational standards.
High Earnings:
  • Proof of compensation levels above the industry average.
Letters of Recommendation:
  • Endorsements from Michelin-starred chefs or industry leaders.
Supporting Documentation for Visa Application:
  • Detailed CV: Leadership roles and achievements at Michelin-starred establishments.
  • Employment Contract: U.S. job offer emphasizing unique qualifications. Atelier Crenn will provide
  • Portfolio: Awards and press recognition
  • Expert Letters: Recommendations from hospitality or culinary experts.
There is a preference to a single candidate however if married, they can join but the O1 Visa will not allow the dependant work authorization in the US. The dependent could apply for their own work visa.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: $ 130 000 per annum
  • Performance Bonus: 10-20 k
  • Relocation Assistance.
  • Healthcare Stipend: $425/month
